|The memorial of the Chechnya and the Ingush at the local library|
Being organized by the cooperation Fund of Caucasus People and the Public representative, the memorial evening was held in honor of 69 anniversary of being deported, on February 23, 2013. The evening was being visited not only by the representatives of Georgian government ,but also by the different non-governmental and international organizations, art and science field representatives, also Chechnya refugees living in Tbilisi, the Pankisian and the Vainakhian delegations from Chechnya-Ingush, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Europe. While making the speech, the representatives of Georgian government noted, that it is important that honoring genocide's victim takes place in Tbilisi and Georgia will continue neighboring and cooperative course with Caucasus people. Guests who made speech talked about those cruelty , inhuman methods and mankind fault that North Caucasians suffered from during massive migrating period. " Being away from motherland for 13 years and the dreadful road from Khaibakhi to Samashki" - was tuned during the whole evening The documentary photos reflecting the migration process were shown. As for famous Georgian Poets they recited their own rhymes dedicated to the tragedy. On February 23,1944 by the order of the authority of that time, accusing of cooperation with the Germans, The Chechen People and the Ingush were made to leave their habitats during 24 hours and migrated in the countries of Middle Asia . Many of the Vainakho population died in the process. In 2004 European Parliament officially declared the massive migration and the Chechen and the Ingush as a genocide.
